What we do

Empower. Educate. Reclaim.

We fight exploitation three ways: by preventing it, by connecting survivors to support, and by uniting the community to end it. That means real awareness, a clear path to resources, and partners working together across Northern Michigan.

  • Empower: resources & support for survivors
  • Educate: awareness & training in the community
  • Reclaim: building the resilience to start over

How we help

Three ways we fight for them

Prevention & Education

We help communities see it, and stop it.

Educating communities and schools about the dangers of human trafficking and how to prevent it.

Prevention is where we put much of our energy. Our educational programs give at-risk youth and adults a clear picture of the tactics traffickers use, so they can spot the warning signs and keep themselves and the people around them safe.

  • Awareness programs for schools and community groups
  • Training that shows how traffickers operate and recruit
  • Work with law enforcement and schools to stop trafficking before it starts

Advocacy & Support

We connect survivors to the support they need.

Helping survivors find the resources and advocates to rebuild their lives.

We help survivors find and reach housing, medical care, legal help, skills training, education, and work, and we connect them with advocates across the community. Nobody is rushed.

  • A clear path to housing, healthcare, and legal help
  • Skills training, education, and employment pathways
  • A caring connection to local resources and advocates

Community & Collaboration

We unite the whole community.

Bringing together the people and organizations who can end trafficking.

We connect nonprofits, government agencies, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community leaders. Together those networks strengthen prevention, help identify victims sooner, and surround survivors with support.

  • Partnerships across agencies, providers, and law enforcement
  • Faster identification of victims through shared awareness
  • Community training that helps prevention reach further

Fostering collaboration

Lasting change is built together.

We partner with nonprofits, government agencies, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and community leaders to build real support networks for survivors. Together that work strengthens prevention, helps identify victims sooner, and surrounds people with the support they need to stay safe.

Together, we can create a world free from human trafficking.
